Coffee and maybe a Balvenie Chaser?
Lighthousegirl - back on board Posted Oct 30, 2001
I am not sure right now!
I have been clearing out my desk and files today. Then my old boss, who was the first person to ever believe I could achieve anything took me for lunch which was really nice. I am wondering if the second glass of wine was such a good idea I am going to miss being able to just pop up and see him. He has just given me a card with a really sweet message in.
I guess I am feeling nostalgic, not just about the past but also getting there about the future too ...
How has your day been?

Thats the way....... I`m following my own advice, and developing this nostalgia for the future, and it`s working GREAT
Great day, another round at the best golf course in the world (really enjoying not having any work at the moment), had a couple of s, and will have a few more at the Pub quiz tonight!
(Can`t believe how much better I feel>
Really glad you enjoyed your lunch Light. How long is the break between jobs?

All the better for seeing my favourite wolf!
I have a cold at the moment and have had a frustrating day but basically I am enjoying being a lady of no gainful employment
How are you?

*Hands over a box of tissues, impregnated with a rare Lupine remedy*
Frustrating? Anything I can do?
Bite somebody perhaps?
You will be gainfully employed soon enough, Relaaaaaaaaax, the first tingles of anticipation will come soon enough!

* blows nose *
Thank you
I went into town to meet a friend today who turned up saying she had an interview in half an hour and that she had no cash so could not pay for the car park! I got to pay for that and then the coffee she was going to get me ...
I also am finding doing nothing quite hard! I have lots I should be doing but just dont feel up to it - I am not very good at being ill
Hopefully by tomorrow I will be feeling a little better !
* wonders what was on this tissue as some of the tension ebbs away *

The tension is being reduced by an age old tincture known only to a select few.
I was taught the recipe by an old Alpha female, long gone to the haven in the sky. I promised I would only use it for special people.
Which is wot I have done.

Hi Light!
I`m OK thanks, got a load of work to do this week, so haven`t been around much, just in and out, as I`ve just been telling AmyP.
Had a good w/end in Yorkshire, but came back down the M1 on Sunday night at about 10 mph, what should have been a 1hour trip became about 3!!
But , what the hell, all part of life`s rich pageant.
How are you doing?

Well Hello
Fine thanks, apart from a slight injury to a foot, that is!
Got a blister because of some new golf shoes, ignored it, now paying the price!! Will have to keep off the course for a week `til it heals
Anyway, enough of that.....How`s your first week in the new job been?
