Edward the Bonobo - Gone.

Now, oddly enough...The Graduate was on TV the other night.

One of her greatest talents, which she shared with Marty Feldman, was the ability to move her eyes independently of one another.

"You're trying to seduce me, aren't you..." loved that character, loved her laugh, her battle against growing old...

I have a postcard (from the film) which shows the view from under her raised stocking-ed leg, with "Ben" in the distance, and the words "You're trying to seduce me..." abovesmiley - wow

I'll always treasure it.

Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary]

There's a picture which always kinda reminded me of it... I thought it was Edward Hopper's but I just checked and found out it wasn't. It's by an artist called Eric Fischl:

(Warning - link not exactly BBC-appropriate; though when it comes to art, where do you draw the line?)
