I actually think I might have delt w/the problems by going to problems:[email protected] : & just telling them how screwed up all had become w/in h2g2.They said they`ed get right on it to see,if the problems were w/in h2g2--I think we got the answer! So hang on to the h2g2.support title-it works! Still in Ventura,will probably change houses soon-bummer `cos Mike has no computer.It`s been great all in all~ Neugen

I put off distributing them Abbi till the kinks were fixed on hootoo. I got them all copied the other night, and plan to put them up in the next day or two. I've included little tear off h2g2 addresses on some of them, so it's going to take me awhile to cut those strips. Heh, heh, guess I'm really into it, huh?

Hi all N here & I want to know how jellen found out that the problem was w/a NY thingy???

I read it in a thread Neugen, but I think I have already unsubscribed from it, and don't remember precisely what it was called. They said it was a server in New York, and that it was affecting most of North America.

In Ventura,I`ll just come back over here.In SB lisa has 1/but kid&judy have web tv.Lompoc doesn`t,I think,but we won`t stay that long-what with them getting married & all. Neugen

Well, it is good that it was not done at the time of the h2g2 snaffoos.I even remember thinking that at the time!

You will do it when it is right! People start getting more adventurous in the spring too

Hi 1 & all! to catch up w/you! jellen could your computer handle 1 or 2 photos which come as part of an actual e-mail sent to you??? That`s what Brit`s going to do for terri.Can Abbi show you somehow the collages she successfully downloaded? Neugen

Well, I already use the viewer tag a little further down on my page. Don't want to be redundant.

I might be able to open an email with the photos pasted into it, as opposed to an attachment. Worth a try.

I don't really have any way to look at what Abbi has downloaded.

jellen~check out the 2 sites I posted in my journal entry on Sun.They are quite interesting!Brit does all the actual computer work involved in scanning parts of his collages(he`d need access to a huge scanner to copy them whole):his e-mail is : [email protected] :I do want him to check out h2g2,so if he gets talking to people about art/artists/different mediums/or just ?`s about his work-he might wake up 1 day & find himself on h2g2,The great news is that my friend judy(w/chicago art institute) matter-of-factly asked that he send more collages but 1 at a time!,very .
