h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

In case some of you didn't know I've been retained from last year to draw comics for my college paper. Yes. Hypothetically I'm getting paid to draw. Take that college education!

Re the Nazi one...
It's even worse here. Seems sometimes like you can't have any sort of political (or quasi-political) argument without someone bringing up, at some point, something about Nazi Germany and/or the Holocaust.
Back at the time of the insane incitement against Yitzhak Rabin, in the months before he was murdered, there were posters of him in SS uniform. That's how low those people would go.

I don't think anyone here would talk like that. Calling a prof a Nazi because he gives much homework, I mean.

There are a few politicians who say rather similar things but they are usually punished one way or other.

Tavaron, I think in your area they won't, because it's still very sensitive, and as far as I've heard that part in history is usually well-taught in schools. Other places might be different.

It's well taught here too, but people are still acting stupid like that about it. Maybe because we're such a tactless nation.

Yea, there's taught much about it at school. We even went to the concentration camp Mauthausen with the history teacher and I don't even want to think of it...

Yeah but you have to consider that America is the land where the "holocaust was made up" people live.

People... are stupid over here. I've been reading some blogs on the internet which was my first mistake and the general response to the election so far has been "Oh noes! The defeatocrats are in Congress! They want us to lose the war and raise taxes!" and the other side being "Hah! Now we're in power you stupid republiCANTS! Now things are going to be rainbows and daisies!"

If I had a nickle for everytime I heard that I'd have an entire dime!

I really don't have the time for another project as I'm up to my eyes in owed drawings and such-like.
