I've managed to get myself revived. As soon as the Big Bash group comes I'm coming back with a some syringes.

You'll find out eventually if it was
People take dying way too seriously in this game. Sometimes even if they are a zombie.

I has been revived by Ophiuchus. However I'm not sure I should stand up, I'm relatively safe if I stay lying down...Zombies are dumb

I haven't had internet access since the end of last week, so when the zombies attacked I was well hidden, having not signed on recently. I have plenty of syringes , but I may not survive for very long in Dartside, what with all the Zeds still roaming.
Hmm, perhaps I shouldn't be playing UD from work. Or accessing h2g2, for that matter.

On a side note: I've been revived in the faraway adjacent suburb of Tapton. And I've been gathering syringes. I'll come back my peoples! And stuff.

I can get up then and not have to worry about being mercilessly slaughtered instantly...plus I may be infected and so wouldn't be able to run far

well then, I shall need to be able to get somewhere safe and wait for a nice person with a FAK to patch me up. So unless you know of any secure buildings I'm best of lying down till this all blows over

yup, because zombies are dumb and can't get you if you're lying down...there should be a lying down button so that you can lie down if Zs break into the building, then you'd be safe

When you are logged off its assumed that you are "sleeping" and when your HP is less than 13 you are "dying" and therefore probably laying down as well.

yes, but lying down after a revive or death makes you invisible to Zs as far as attackable things are concerned

Isn't it awesome? Its cause you smell dead. Or something. I won't even go into what goes through a zombies head.

Did you know that you can request a revive in South Blythville on a certain forum? You just provide them with your id #, and they come. You just need to be at one of two places: Park Walk [22, 76] or Gee Avenue [26, 72]. Currently I'm waiting for some at or south of Parkwalk. Do it at http://s15.invisionfree.com/revive.
