Will all be done by next Friday. Yes, really. Can you believe this has gone on so very long? That's what losing the net at home does for you...

Right. Whatever happens, they are definitely, definitely going to be finished today. I've even come to a net cafe especially to do the final bits - I really am very sorry that these have taken about four years to get through. In my defence, I had actually done most of it ages ago (before I moved house) but not having net access at home anymore didn't get round to updating them on the site itself...
I'll leave them all on my Space, if you're ok with them (and not much has changed) I'll send them on.
You are, it has to be said, incredibly patient.
Right, on with it...

...ok, I think everything is loaded now. I may well have a closer look at 'Tourism on...', but have deliberately left it especially untouched as it had a nicely impassioned (sp?) feel to it.
I thought the Captain Cook info was especially interesting, having just been reading about him myself.
Am I right in thinking that Cane Toads were introduced deliberately to control some pest or other? It might be worth mentioning.
Anyway, please do let me know what you think. I absolutely promise to act very quickly!
Cheers

Thanks very much, I think you've done an excellent job! It makes my writing style seem much nicer. Don't worry about the time you took, it's not too late to make the front page (I think) and trying to move house and losing internet at the same time must have made it very hard for you!
You're right, cane toads were introduced deliberately, in an attempt to control another pest. Some insect that eats sugar cane, the cane beetle. But they've gone way out of control and are now huge pests in their own right!
Thank you for adding the links to all the other entries down the bottom. In those links you've written Frazer Island instead of Fraser Island though, which will have to be fixed. Other than that, I think the entries are fine! I'll go and check through them again to make sure.
Thanks again,
Niwt

Right, looks like we're finished. Thanks very much and well done. All I have to do now, I think, is notify the Editors, which I shall do tonight.

Agh - some of the pages (A1067096, A1067069 and possibly others) still have the Z problem. If you could change it over the weekend that would be great, as I've notified the Editors that the project is completed. If you can't get online don't worry, maybe the Eds will be able to do something.
I told 'em about the project here: F47997?thread=328220 if you're interested.

OK, not too difficult to sort these, I'll tidy it up on Sunday while nursing my post Turkey v England hangover/injuries.

I'd be astonished if this project wasn't used. The very worst that would happen is that they'd split them in some way, as a 'series' instead of a 'project'.

Did you see it? It was on last week! And I have a new badge! Sorry, I should have told you. Thank you very much, anyway.
See you around...

Excellent news! No, I've been in Alabama for the last few weeks so haven't had much access to the net. Well done!

Well, there are the front page archives if you want to see what it said (not much).
