So what's going on - how are you, what are you up to and where do you want me?!

I've pretty much finished for the sumer - hoorah! Spent a week feeling poorly through loss of adrenalin (which is apparently really common) but am generally pretty good at the moment.

Have you been recieving the messages i send you?

Sub / Guru again too? i thought you knocked all that on the head. Or was that just ace-ing?

I am ok, a bit on the downside this last week, but not for any particular reason.

The kids are fine.

Well i'm up for it. And i'm free now! Except for next week when i need to do two days work. So how are you? Are you social still? Have you been getting any of the messages i've sent you?

And of course the offer to come to mine is always open, permanently, whenever you're available. Do wait for me to ask. 'Cos i won't.

Has the festival started, i guess it's preview week isn't it. I guess you have a 'mixed oppinion of the festival don't you. (ie. Would like to go to loads of nice cultural events, on you own.) Do you know when the film festival is? that's usually after the main festival, mid aug to early sept. i think. I'd really like to catch some of that so might try to grab a couple of days at the end of the summer to come up.

But i'd like to see you properly (ie. not a flying visit which is largely an excuse to go to the cinema) so what are you doing for the next three weeks?

I've got a couple of weddings on over your birthday week, but the first couple of weeks of august are free. I'll work out what i've got on and actually write to you! Would you rather just see me for a couple of days a couple of times over summer, or is a week ok?

Oh! And Half Man Half Biscuit are playing at the liquid room on the 11th! (Three gigs in one year from the agrophobic king of spleen - that's almost a tour!)

And of course i meant 'Fringe' not festival throughout the above message, i'll be back at work i think for the Festival. Do you have programmes? Aw go on, send us one, you know you want to, (and i'm too skint to pay the fiver to get them to send me one (which is a bit rich considering they're free! - though i suppose it's the only real perk residents get, being able to pick up free programmes))

Still getting on with L great. We both went on webcam last night and chatted for 3 hours. First time I have seen her on cam. Was quite emotional.

Just saw Debbie Norton in the doctors with a newish baby (less than a year) and one about four - didn't speak to her as she clearly recognised me and didn't acknowledge me.

I have had a cold all Christmas so not been feeling fab but Paul came up for a visit so we have both been sick and miserable together!
