Dearest ZSF,
Have just received your super message - beautifully spoken - clearly and with perfect articulation. The result was that I phoned you straight away but sadly you had left for work already.
I am sure that you do not aspire to be what you wrote in your reply to me --a necessary F missing!!.
With affection

You're right, AR1
When's the best time to speak to you? I've been preoccupied just lately. Roy has been laid flat with the flu and stayed here for four days in bed, before he felt a little better and got a taxi home so that he could see his doctor. He's now drugged up to the eyeballs with antibiotics and still feeling very miserable.

Thanks TiT - he's got full bown flu - can't move - skin hurts, bones ache, hurts to move in bed, let alone get up - no appetite - that sort of thing. I don't think it's anything he'll die from - although when a really bad flu epidemic hits, people do die.
I think what he really needs is TLC. He's finding it really frustrating being in bed not being able to do anything. I think the longer he stays in bed and looks after himself, the sooner he'll be up and ready to tackle the world again.

Well done for writing the WASP article !
Sorry to hear that Roy is feeling rubbish.
Have you tried ginger, lemon and honey tea? I find that always helps to break the flu, or at least help that horrible feeling that your bones are so cold and shivery that they ache all the time.

Thank you, LSF!
I think the major energy is inspiration with these women. Their spirit is wonderful - their voices show this.
No, I haven't suggested that to Roy so far - I will though. He's been so low in energy that while he was with me, he wasn't really able to take in much more than warm water. I gave him some Diorylite (sp?) which is just mineral salts to replace those lost and he threw up.

Ginger is really good for nausea, so Roy may be able to keep that down .
The tea is best from fresh ingredients though - the ready made herbal teabags tend to not work so well.
I wanted to check those WASP soundbites out, but it took way too long to download!

I've made the suggestion. Apparently he's allergic to honey. I'd forgotton that. Roy's odd - he's allergic to some interesting stuff including nuts and alcohol - even the smallest sip gives him a headache - and he can tell immediately. Shame. .
I have broadband, so it's easier for me to load the WASP soundbytes. Shame you couldn't hear them, LSF, the voices are so inspiring, so full of energy and determination.
