Like the name says - I'm trying to get people to join my new society. So a) Can I put an ad up in Clas Ads? b)Where else can I advertise? and c)Would you like to join?

Have updated the Classifieds to include your society. 
. Looks fab, I'll pop by shortly and sign up. Half the reason that these classifieds are here is cos there doesn't appear to be anywhere to advertise such things. 
You might want to consider canvassing or joining up with a group like the Muses as they tend to advertise products and services offered by their members.
