Curse this new technology. My friend, I wrote a reply to your warm welcome not ten minutes ago, yet it seems to have been lost without trace, and I do not know whether my words of wisdom have been committed to the ether. If so, my humblest apologies. If not, thank you for kind words. I wrote, in case you did not receive my note, of my need to light the first fire of autumn in my rustic hearth, and of the comfort that I find in the darkening nights. I think that blighter Keats got to work first in committing these thoughts to verse, otherwise I would be inspired to write a poem.
Until next time, thank you. I suggested that you rasie your right arm if you type anything sarcastic, and in this way we will all know where we stand.

I've written things that have evaporated into the ether also, CP!
You are most welcome! One of the sad facts of life in the 21st century is that a lot of good poetry has already been written about the basics ... perhaps you can wax poetic about your words being committed to the ether ...
And you'll generally know when I'm being sarcastic by the I'll put after a sarcastic remark.
See you around!
