The Cobain Diaries
Posted Feb 2, 2003
Surely I'm not the only one who thinks that the publication of Kurt Cobain's diaries was totally outrageous and disrespectful?

Capital Punishment
Posted Dec 28, 2002
I read today that 85% of U.S states that practice capital punishment, have an error rate of 60% or more.
I think that this statistic speaks for itself.

Would anyone like to sign this petition: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A907652
It is to ask the Home Office to change their slogan. Follow the link for more details.
Also, can anyone help me with ways to publicise it on h2g2?

SWM by Michael Moore
Posted Dec 26, 2002
"Stupid White" Men by Michael Moore: the scariest book I have ever read. Made all the more scary because it is true. George W. Bush did NOT win the U.S presidential election, says Chapter One. And the figures to prove it are all there. Scary I tell you. Horrible things in that book... I'm very afraid... He's got his finger on the big red button you know. The thief-in-chief.

Well... I'm sitting here and it's getting dark already - much too early for my liking.
Don't you think that Christmas is over-commercialised? And that it starts too early? Christmas now starts in November. There was a pub near me that used to put up a huge Christmas tree on the roof in October. Seriously! October! (That was until it fell on someone [or their car - accounts differ] and it became a liability. The infamous tree hasn't been seen since...)
Hmmm... never really used this journal thingy before...
Er... my mock GCSEs are over. I get the next 2 days off school, then only 2 days till the end of term and the start of the xmas break. The first day of those we're watching the 'Christmas Extravaganza', which basically means sleep time for me. (I'm not really a fan of it, you know...) That only leaves Friday. Which is a half day anyway. And a non-uniform day for the low, low price of just 50 pence. These factors combine to provide the conclusion that I have no more real work to do until next year. Which is no doubt a good reason for celebration. So here's to Christmas holidays...
