No, it's not.
But I'm trudging to bed now.
If you're staying up, there's a party going on at U180461.
Pegasus is dealing out as she's the Keeper of
So drop by & have a good time
Goodnight, sweetie.
And thanks for listening..

Been a day like no other I've seen here today as well. For most of the night the links into our big machine were down. Today has been spent clearing up after the mess

You should see my bedroom.
Cleaning up the mess left by the plasterer.
Oh, and I think I will be single again after this weekend.

At least the plastering has been done (even if you need to clear up!)
I thought things were going ok for you

They were.
Oh well.
Now the deed is done and I don't feel as bad as I thought I would.
Being alone is no big deal, plus I have a lot to look forward to.
Thursday Andrew returns to school, and I can get started decorating {well, continuing the preparation anyway}.
I got a bargain from matalan on Saturday
New bedset with matching curtains for £15.
Chopsticks it's called, it's a mulberry colour.
I'm tempted to go for a laminated floor, with a couple of rugs.
If I can get the walls anything like good enough, I'll paint them instead of wallpaper.
First I have a ceiling to paint, it'll probably need 2 if not 3 coats, brand new plaster soaks it up!
Won't take me long with my roller.
Very theraputic, painting.

From the sound of it, it's for the best. Hope Andrew hasn't been driving you too batty over the summer but I'm sure you'll be glad for the rest when he's back in school.
So what colour are you going to do the ceiling then? (and walls if you paint them).
The painting bit can be like that. Waiting for it to dry can be a pain though!

I was lucky I had the company when I did.
Plus we went out a lot, which helped pass the time.
Colour...I'm thinking mulberry & cream.

Lighter than purple...
Darker than pink.
The best set I bought is actually described as "red" but I don't think it resembles red at all!

I'll take a photo when it's done, and scan it.
Or you can have a look next time you're over this way.

And I must admit I am tempted to go for a laminated floor instead of a carpet this time.
The picture that came with the bedding parcel showed the bed made up, and the bed was on a laminated floor, and it looked
It's come down in price a lot too...

would you be laying it yourself or getting laid by someone else
Still seems like hard work from what I've been told.

Sounds like the voice of experience there....
You'd have to be pretty hard up to lay your own floor.
Key: Complain about this post
