Been trying to find our old threads.
Just refreshing this one to see if you're awake
Race you to the others

I had a quick look when I got back last night but wasn't up to much as I needed to get to bed after driving back to London.
Later

That was this time last week. I'm all refreshed and ready to go this week (sort of).
Then there is the wonder of caffine
I did find driving up to Worcester on friday night quite scary as I was really tired. Once I got off the motorway it wasn't so bad.

I keep thinking about doing one of those. Never quite had the nerve (or the money) just yet.

I'm nervous just thinking about HER doing it.
Well that's my plans for the day up in smoke. Helen just texted me to say she has a dental appointment and can she come later in the week. Don't know why she couldn't have told me that last night? Now my dad's got to wait for his wrestling tape, as I can't take Andrew round there. My prescription is still waiting to be picked up, and the box that has to go back to Britannia via parcel post must wait too.
*big sigh*

I seem to forget about things like dental appointments so I know it can be done.
Life is pretty slow in the office today (or is it just me ) but I've just found out I've been booked onto a training course, so that's good.

A training course for the main database we use here at the bank.

OIC!
For a minute there I had a picture of you in fatigues with black grease on your face.
Did I tell you I used to work for Barclays Bank?
You seem awfully familiar...
Solsbury Posted Aug 21, 2001
None of that stuff here thankfully.
I don't think you have mentioned that you used to work in a bank at all. Or if you had then I've gone and forgotten in.

Well, I used to work in a bank!
From leaving school till being seven months gone with Laura.
Seven years...
Got up very early this morning, so got cracking with my entry on Cleethorpes. I've only been *going to* write it for over a year
I won't mention my walk with you, nor the fact that I was sat there when DNA died.
Other than that, nothing is safe
Not sleeping very well at the minute, been attacking my bedroom .... it's just a bare shell and my bed now. The suspended ceiling {which Andrew's dad built} is gone. It was awful. Office tiles with a central mirror. His idea of a joke, I was 6-months pregnant at the time.
Oh well, it's gone now.
Steve's friend is calling sometime to price me up replastering the ceiling, then I'm gonna wallpaper after that's done & maybe treat myself to a new carpet.
The walls are almost stripped. There's only 2 full walls, the window wall and the bit between the wardrobes where my bed is. Last time I had spare from 4 rolls of paper.
I've seen some nice paper, "Zen" it's called, and you can get matching bedding...

Hey, I work for a bank! (Not one on the high street though)
Seven years, a long time. The longest job I've had so far is two years.
A Cleethorpes entry, I'll have to see if it matches what I remember
Sounds like you have great plans for the bedroom. I'm sure it'll look great when you've finished

It won't take me long either.
The best room in my house to decorate.
Next will be my living room
Doing well on the Cleethorpes entry, {http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A531749} if you wanna read so far.
Let you know when it's done, ok?
Ooh, I just noticed, my "Diana" entry is pending...
Gotta
Guest coming for tea, pulled out all stops & having onion & garlic dip with carrot & breadsticks, lamb steaks with proper mash & veg, finally raspberry sorbet yum yum yum
Hope I've not just made you hungry

Solsbury Posted Aug 22, 2001
I'll wait for the finished product before having a look then
I am feeling hungry right now. One of the people in the team has just brought a box of cakes in. No reason other than we didn't have any!
I'll be off home soon so not a problem really.

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Aug 23, 2001
I'm exhausted, up to the window now. {still stripping}
Daren't open my email account, 99 unread emails.
I was online 4 hours this morning, all I managed to do was update the Keeper page.
Going to bed
Goodnight Phil
