It's freeeeeeeeezing cold here at the moment. I'm wearing several layers and a nice warm hat and it's making no real difference.

Typical. I get an offer of a scanner from a friend and the thing turns out to be broken 
. My ambitions to become a guide artist are back to square one.

Miserable Weather

I woke up this morning to the sound of rain lashing against the windows.
The weather seems to be getting progressively worse. My barometer showed a massive plummet in the air-pressure which usually leads to a combination of cold and rain at this time of year. It's powers of prediction seem to have been correct.
Just to cap it all, the Fire Service in the UK is currently on a pointless strike with (I have no doubt) public sympathy plummeting in line with the air-pressure. Maybe the rain will be useful in this respect.
Only good thing about the day so far is that I got round to giving my room a much-needed clean (even those mysterious dark spots in the carpet). I'd like to open the windows in order to freshen the air up a bit, but it would probably turn to the Baltic in here if I did.

I didn't get the job
So I can look forward to more unemployment and it's associated tedium/money problems for the forseeable future.
