Ad Memorium - Sherbet
Posted Aug 6, 2001
Yesterday, one of my nine fish died. After a long battle against fin-rot and swim-bladder problems, Sherbet finally succumbed.
Myself and Witty Ditty had been trying our best to save Sherbet up until his unfortunate and untimely demise.

Posted Aug 2, 2001
Just had my first Guide Entry recommended for the Edited Guide, so I'm rather pleased with that! I wonder if there'll be any more?

First Week...
Posted Jul 26, 2001
I think I'm on a roll here! Three Guide Entries written in one week and still have ideas for more.
But, I think I'll take a little break from Peer Reviews - already have those three floating around somewhere...
Still knocking around those tennis balls!

The Theory of Orange Juice
Posted Jul 22, 2001
Professor Dongle Splogge of the Department of Pointless Theories, discovered yet another pointless theorem on life. This time, the theory of orange juice was put forward to the Scientific Institute.
Orange juice, he writes, is one of the most important necessities in the modern world. The first most important is oxygen and the second is being nice. Orange juice is required to make a human being nice in the morning. The action of tipping a cardboard container so the juice just trickles out gives immediate satisfaction to the pourer.
The action of squeezing an orange to produce the juice brings immense fun to the squeezer. The action of twisting and squeezing pulls the person into a repetitive movement which does not stop, even when all the juice has been expelled.
Professor Dongle Splogge is not part of the Committee which processes these theories.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
