I thought I'd better get something up before the power cord gets in the wrong position again and makes the laptop shut down in the middle of writing a post AGAIN. I'd replaced this one once, and the laptop got knocked down and the replacement cord end came entirely off. I'd not gotten around to throwing the old cord out, and it was working again, so I hadn't replaced the replacement yet. So of course, now it's being annoying again, as is Tom's.

I'm on my second power cord for the netbook.

I've heard of power walks and power suits, so I guess power cords are par for the course. If it stops working, does it become a powerless cord?

We're on power cord 3 for my son's 3DS, I suppose that's what comes from buying the 'generic' one

There is nothing necessarily wrong with generic cords. NEVER get suckered in by expensive cords and cables.

I was truly excited when I received my AudioQuest HDMI cable after reading the glowing positive reviews. I knew it would be fantastic, but I didn't know how fantastic it would truly be.
