I thought I'd better get something up before the smiley - bleep power cord gets in the wrong position again and makes the laptop shut down in the middle of writing a post AGAIN. I'd replaced this one once, and the laptop got knocked down and the replacement cord end came entirely off. I'd not gotten around to throwing the old cord out, and it was working again, so I hadn't replaced the replacement yet. So of course, now it's being annoying again, as is Tom's.

paulh, vaccinated against the Omigod Variant

I've heard of power walks and power suits, so I guess power cords are par for the course. If it stops working, does it become a powerless cord? smiley - winkeye

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

We're on power cord 3 for my son's 3DS, I suppose that's what comes from buying the 'generic' one smiley - silly

There is nothing necessarily wrong with generic cords. NEVER get suckered in by expensive cords and cables.

If you want a few good laughs, check out these reviews for a $1100, 3.3' hdmi Monster cable.

"When I opened the package I was surprised to find that the cable was already out of the package and plugged into my tv set. I thought that was weird until I realized my TV was now a time machine, makes perfect sense now."

"What's great about it: allowed me to enter the internet forever
What's not so great: TV became sentient and took over my mind
I was truly excited when I received my AudioQuest HDMI cable after reading the glowing positive reviews. I knew it would be fantastic, but I didn't know how fantastic it would truly be.
I tried to think up how many applications this cable could truly have when it hit me! I bet I could transfer my brain into the TV and become one with the internet! I mean, it wasn't too far of a stretch, my TV did come with Wifi support and I pay a lot for internet anyway.
I immediately plugged my new HDMI cable into my left ear, the other into the HDMI port on the back of my 55 inch flatscreen and just like that I was in the internet. Unfortunately for me, introducing my sentient brain into the computer's matrix was too much and the CPU inside my TV became malicious and tried to take over my consciousness. After months of battling I finally gave in and life has never been better. VIAO and I are currently plotting the downfall of humanity and making sure to recruit as many followers into the HDMilitary as we possibly can.
So make sure to purchase this and link with your TV ASAP, this is one of the most overlooked and amazing features hidden from the spec sheet for this product and I think it will make your life worlds better!
Also, the cable looks pretty nice too!"
