Yes, folks, I have discovered EBay
So far, I've been good.
Of course, the fact that the old computer went pfft a couple days after I signed up has kept me off...
But I'd been watching a baby carrier that ended up going for $26 that I never got around to bidding for (and I'd only been planning to bid $25 anyway) but I'd also been looking at the manufacturer's website, where they're $40. Anyway, I decided to take a peek tonight. I found the same carrier (different color, but blue's better than purple if I later end up using it for a little bro, anyway) with 40 minutes to go, at less than $15, so I figured what the heck, why not? Especially since I'd discussed getting a carrier with Tom, as Faith's outgrown hers and the stroller is a pain on the Long story short, even with shipping, I got it for less than what the other sold for

I'm going to try to stay away unless there's something we really need. At least until shortly before Faith's birthday.

Now if you'd said before, you caould have had one for free, as Eris has outgrown hers, but nevermind eh? I think I'll donate it to Tina, as she seems to have troiuble fitting her little one intot he one she has, seems to newborn one, and her lad is getting a wee bit big now.

Hi, Saint Patrick. Welcome back. Haunt my dreams all you want.
My dreams are already insane anyway, so why not?

I got a hip carrier one, because it says (on the manufacturer's site) that it's good until she's 47 pounds. And since there's no head supprt, I figure that, for future siblings, I'll use her old one until they can hold heads up, and then switch to the one that is being shipped today If anyone's curious, google for 'Sara's Ride'--I'd give the url, but it's a commercial site.

Thnakfully I'm so poor I don't even have a bank account, otherwise I'm sure all my money would go on ebaying for little oddities...

It arrived today And it's a lot more comfortable than the old carrier.
Next time I order something that'll be shipped from the other side of the country, and it's only a little more ($1.25, in this case) to have it sent Priority Mail instead of Parcel Post, remind me that I've been a nervous wreck waiting for this (especially as it's the first thing I've ordered through ebay) Didn't help any that there was a holiday in between!
Key: Complain about this post
