I brought some yesterday too! My last day in my current job is on Halloween so I thought I would get some for the *monsters* I am leaving behind!

I may well have to get some more before then though

That's why you should get the stuff *you* don't like if you're going to get it early... Then if you get candy you like, you still have something for Halloween night... *reminds self to follow own advice*

Well, if you're not going to be home that night, no sense letting good candy go to waste, is there?

Could you sit there with the lights out pretending not to be home so that you can eat the candy in peace?

*reminds self that there's lots of kids in the neighborhood, and she'll be home, so must buy candy this year...* The porch lights at the apartments are the kind that go on automatically when it gets dark, so I can't just turn out the lights and concentrate on h2g2 (since Halloween's in the middle of the week)...

*misses halloween at home.*

Me and a neighbor every year got together and put all kinds of stuff around his porch and I would usualy be dressed up all scary like. Then we would give the kids a scare then calm them down with candy . Only one little kid ran away before getting candy. Quite a few would not even get on the porch so someone would just go out there and hook them up and I got hit by quite a few witches brooms but it was so much fun. (Creativity is not wasted on just a few)

when is Halloween? I'm really not one for remembering dates anyone know if new years day is going to to be on the 1st of jan this year, like it was last year?

I think they changed new years this year.

Oh, damm, don't you hate it when they change the dates of things like new year, like when they changed Christmas day a couple of years ago, confussed me cause they kept Christmas eve on the same day but altered Christmas day itself

When was that? Did they move it back? Can I still say my birthday's three days after Christmas?

Of course I say that, because it's true... I was supposed to be born on Christmas day, but I was late, and I've been procrasitinating ever since...

Actually, I've been lucky--My family's always made a point of keeping my birthday and Christmas separate... I've known people with a month in between who've gotten them lumped together...

Actually I *really* dont like the commercialism which puts Christmas into our shops in September

I love thinking of gifts for everyone and then either making them something, or finding something unusual for them. I love making cards and writing to friends I wish I saw more often too.

This year could be really exciting - I am due to go to New York for a wedding on the weekend between Christmas and New Year!

Do you think Santa will deliver a brand new car for me or should I aim a little lower?
How about just one of them rich super model females that will buy me a car and stuff?
Would she come in a really big box with those little styrofom penut thingygummers?
With my luck would she turn out to be evil or just really stupid ?
If I had to dump her would I get to keep the car?
