Woah, the Heimlich maneuvre is pretty drastic... mind you, the Dude has been burping pretty much all over the plac, and it sounds kinda fun

Saw LOTR for the first time the other night. Very impressed. A little long to sat in the flicks for though.

I thought the movie was excellent. Not too long, especially since they left out about a quarter of the book.

I just saw it last Friday... I decided to crack open the book to see if maybe this time I'd like it... Though since I only have less than an hour a day to read anymore, it'll take awhile.... (Only just finished The Hobbit this morning on the way to w**k...)

It's a film you have got to see in the flicks as it is so huge and the sound really makes it, I'm just not very good at staying still for that long.

and I am sure no one in the theator apreciates it when you stand up and jump around everyonce and a while to get the blood moving back in your legs
Amy I know a lot of people that love the book and there is just as many that say they can't stand reading it...something about how it's written makes them have to work to hard to read it...so good luck but don't feel alone if you don't get into it.....I have seen the movie a couple of times...and I have friends asking me to go with them to see it again..I think I will wait till the killer DVD comes out with all the extra sceens and stuff people are talking about
