'ave you 'ad a look yet? Are you motivated to read the book? Jimmy's reading yet another series by her, he just got book 2 of the 'Protector of the Small' from the library. Realms of the Gods is just a dud, the best is Feral Sorcery, Wild Magic (its real title..)

Yep I read it and posted a message there.
Perhaps that author is like arthur c clarke. I seem to remember you being very dissapointed with the sequal to 2010. In that nothing happens

Unfortunately, A C Clarke is like that...I think it's because he wrote '2010' at the same time as Stanley Kubrick was making the film, and they were writing the script together. AC Clarke, on his own, doesn't seem to realise that things should *happen* in a story. The best stories I've read by him are the short shorts, one about a sentient solar flare and its thoughts as it dissipates out into space after going past 
and disrupting radio communication (as they do)
