4 hours

I spent 4 hours undergoing a psychological assessment and I feel like I have been abseiling, elated but a little dizzy and sick as the waves of relief wash trhough me now I have the feet on the ground.

I can list the many possible positives to come from this and I had some idea of what I wanted out it but my baseline for achievement for today was turning up.

Over this week I have been telling myself, you must not convince yourself that you do not need to do this, whatever you feel or think on Friday, you do not run away, you over-ride every flight message that you are experiencing and you get yourself through those doors.

And I did and now I feel good about it

Bruxism

Bruxism is teeth clenching, gnashing, grinding, that sort of thing. I happened to learn this as I have noticed that I have been clenching my teeth a lot recently.

The Bruxism Association explains that this is a subconscious behaviour that usually happens when people are asleep. I am not aware that I clench my teeth in my sleep, for me it seems to be when I am reading or thinking in 'a concentrated way'.

In my sleep I do occasionally gnash, well, more of a snap smiley - yikes, it bloody hurts, I have bitten my tongue hard enough to make it bleed impressively and it sounds like I could break a tooth

Anyway that is a bit by the by, it led me on to thinking, what do other people do, poke your tongue out when you are thinking, sleep walk/talk, clench when you are stressed?

Happy Mum

Hiccup has gone to school today smiley - wow

She came home early last night,11.30pm is early on a party night smiley - winkeye, got a good nights sleep, no buckets or bowls required although breakfast was declined (she took it with her) and off she went, fit for school

All her own decisions, I'm so proud. She has got her after school sessions organised and is willing to go in over the holdays.

She is not giving up, bloody good on her
