Welcome to Zem's Den
Well. What to say. It's always difficult, isn't it. Like when the loud Australian gushed and squawked at Noel Coward "Go on mate, say something funny! Go on!".... without batting an eyelid came the fatal riposte - "Australia."
Sadly, I'm not that witty. So don't get too excited.
So, back to me. Well - I'm sentient(ish), have access to this Internet thing - and can type. What more is there?
Oh yes. Zem. Why Zem? (I'll refrain from the obvious 'Why not?') Well, more years ago than I can comfortably count without undressing, a game called Hack was the bees-knees as far as network gameplay went. It featured stunning, photorealistic 2D ASCII characters at an awesome 80x25 resolution. It also needed a short name to stick on screen and, having just read Life the Universe and Everything, Zem came to mind. It stuck.
I am Zem in many places, times and otherwhens, and have a plethora of friends who know me by no other name.
And so to today. It seems that Zem is finally home - at last.
