Wow!
That has to be the prettiest post I've seen in a while!
I agree - should be a smiley, and I'm sure it will be one day. In the 7 or so years this entry has been pending, there have been periods when there were going to be no more, then periods when people were encourged to suggest new ones - the cycle will come round again, I'm sure.
Re TMs, I assume it's guide policy to use "TM" as the trademark acknowledgement. Stirctly speaking, the use of "TM" by a trademark holder doesn't mean anything in the UK, although it is clearly an acknowledgement that the names are trademarks in this context (we are not claiming to be the owners). There is an argument for using the "R" in a circle mark, or "RTM" for registered TMs, but I don't think anyone is likely to be bothered to check the register, and in any case hootoo is international, so who can tell what is registered or not in Equitorail Guinea. Anyway, legal niceties asside, "Intel" should be a TM, and otherwise it looks fine.
Ugi
PS I never said my entries got written and edited in a hurry now, did I! ;-0

Did you meant the "Intel" name or the "plink plonk" sound to TM?
Also, is "Capri" (your mate's Capri) does that need a TM also?
legaldoesn't quite cover all eventualities, does it?
My first spell-check wouldn't do all the document so I chopped it in half to do the second lot never mind all now...good job I did! I *almost* missed "Swizerland" and "strightforward" (would have got me a roasting in the sub-ed forum, they would!)

It should be "Intel TM" - the actual notes in combination are also a TM, but the words "plink plonk plink tonk" aren't - they're just a representation, so they don't need a "TM".
You're right about "Capri" - didn't think to check footnotes .
Hope you don't get too roasted - you were always on to a difficult time on the spelling when I'm involved!
Time for a ? (hootoo is international, so the sun's over the yard-arm somewhere on-site!)

Where are you based? It's not lunchtime here yet!
I'll share a with you when you're wetting that baby's head, OK?
Is this ready for the button to be pressed then?

That was my point - you shouldn't drink before the sun's over the yard arm, but of course it always is somewhere on Hootoo!
Can you let me read throu' once more over lunch & then I think we're good to go

I don't like "protect some kinds" just before the types of IP - sounds a bit clumsy. Could we have "protect various kinds".
Some more TMs as well - Dyson and Workmate, plus a second occurance of "Coca-Cola". I would also rather have "we would all be able to make CokeTM" in place of "we would all be able to make cola", because we can all make cola if we could be bothered - it's the Coke recipe we don't have.
I thnk "how you will demonstrate the invention over a scope that will provide commercially valuable protection." should end with a question mark.
I should also put an extra word in the provisional protection section - because it's not universal, it should say "after publication you may have protection..."
You are then free to do your thing with my blessing.
And thanks again for being such a .

Hi GB!
Are you still about on this thread, or are you spending all your time on the Front Page these days?
Nice work by the way - you seem to be on the FP as autor or subed almost every day at the moment.
Anyway, do you know if something is up with this entry? It seems to have been stalled for about 6 weeks now. I haven't had an edited entry for a loooong time (although I was also on the front page with a rather questionable attribution to the eye colour determination entry today) but it seems like a long while to be on the "returned from" list - There are 26 on that list at the moment, which at 2 a day would be less than 3 weeks' worth.
Just wondering if I should be doing anything.
Ugi
PS How are you? Please do stick around for and while you're here.

I have a feeling it's probably still with the BBC lawyers. It really is a great Entry and I'm sure it'll be FP soon, although if I hear anything to the contrary, I'll let you know
My "Delphinus" on the FP was a long time pending - the article was recommended 25 Feb: F9195512?thread=5051899&latest=1 and Deke's "Aquarius" waited around 3 months. I checked: your article was rec'ded 25 Jan. I'll drop the Eds an email in the morning and ask how come it's still waiting,
The "eye" Entry was a recycled one, I don't know why the Eds are still publishing two new & one recycled 4 days a week. It makes the wait for the FP glory extremely slow
Believe it or not I had almost nothing on the FP in March, everything was bunged up "awaiting sub" (we're a bit desperate for volunteers) there was over 50 articles awaiting sub this morning so I asked for four, and I'm going on holiday on Friday morning!
How's the Mrs Ugi? Has she finished incubating yet?

We'll wait & see how it goes.
I am delighted to say that Mrs Ugi & I now have a second gorgeous (OK, I admit I'm biased) daughter born conveniently on 5 March - the day after you finished sub-ing this entry!
All seem to be well, and our newest Uglet is feeding and growing well.
I wandered past your PS earlier and saw that your family have not been so lucky . There's nothing that I can say really except that I hope they come to accept it in time and give the whole thing another go when they feel ready. We had really bad 12 months or so ending the last part of 07, and it seemed like nothing would work out, but in the end things have turned around and although nothing can bring back what you lose, you count yourselves lucky for the good things when they do come.
Anyway, just a to all concerned.
I'm off for a , but have another cuppa' - there's plenty of too.

Thanks GB!
I confess I was becoming a little downhearted, but to have a pic makes up for most things!
Thanks for all your help with this.

Hi VP!
Yes, it made it through the quagmire of BBC lawyers, or whoever, at the normal pace that such things move - if anyone should have known it would take months it's me!
Thanks for your help again both of you:
and all round!
