I'm used to a pretty flat lake filled life.
All those mountains would make me nervous.
Though I loved my one visit to your gorgeous state.
My wife and I almost killed each other playing tennis with the balls we brought from home. (turns out we needed high altittude balls)

I have personality conflicts with Christmas.
I'm trying to ignore it, but I'll probably end up sending out cards.
All my friends understand that I won't be buying presents this year. I'm saving for travel this year. So, no, I haven't done any shopping for the holiday...
But I keep seeing things I want to buy for loved ones!!! ::sigh::
We're decorated for HALLOWEEN at Wal*Mart...

You could save your money and make gifts for family.
We were saving money for the new house last year
so I had a song written and recorded for my wife.
With your musical talent you could record a different song for each of them!

This morning when I woke up I opened one of my poetry books from the summer I was 17... I was amazed at what I had written...

I see inexpensive, heartfelt christmas gifts in your family's future!
It is fun to look back and find some creative gems in the past that you forgot about. I've had this experience alot with packing up to move. But sometimes it's scary!!

Yes most of my old things are oily!
No I would work in graphite and waterbased paint, either guache or Dr. Martins dyes. Oils take too long for commercial work!
I have done a handful of oil paintings throughout my life. Some good, some not...and none of Erie...
or Huron or Superior...ouch!
(sometimes I hurt myself with those kind of jokes)

Art is our friend.... do you do landscapes!??/ Wait... you said something about commercial stuff...
I'm so tired I can't think straight... I probably shouldn't be online...

Are you up early or did you stay up all night you bad girl.
Yes I have done landscapes, but I find people facinating.
A much more fun subject, if you are going to have to spend days with an image.
Most of my commercial illustrations also are of people.
(from cartoons to realism, variety is the spice of my life)

I guess that makes me Nordy Warwell?!!!
But I've always worked in small studios, so I also can still be a designer.
That way I can determine how my illustrations are used and
how they relate to the type and photography. Or no illustrations at all!
Fun stuff!!!
