Howdy Ottie. Great seeing you. Are you just making sure no one is taking over your exhaulted position as QuoteQuizes ultimate champion?
Hiya sunny. Did you like making it into the QuoteQuiz standings?
Hej elwood!
sunny Posted Apr 21, 2004
hello elwood!
_of course_ I like being in the winners circle!
(oh, you mean that takes more than one shiny sparkling point?)
... we bought a movie on DVD yesterday ... but with the _wrong_ white rabbit ...
... and will maybe buy another one as a present ... with _another_ wrong white rabbit ...

Congratulations on answering the 200th Anniversary QuoteQuiz! It is Elwood P. Dowd!(why does that name sound familiar?)
Unfortunately the scorer is very particular sort of fellow and can't be swayed by sentiment or bribes, so no extra points. ( but he has been known to dose off, so you may be able to sneek over and add a few more points while he's )
Well QuoteQuiz #199 and #200 were the same two quoters as #99 and #100 so you may have been able to get mostly-usless bonus points if you had uncovered that little tidbit.

Elwood!
There's an invisible rabbit in Blues Brothers??
I'd like to answer #299 and #300: DNA and Elwood P. Dowd
Hej elwood!
elwood Posted Apr 22, 2004
I thought you had already answered them in a vague Ottoxie sort of way.
The QuoteQuiz scorer had given you the points. Maybe you and the scorer have a psychic connection and he knew you would answer them correctly?
Anyway enjoy your time as the reigning QuoteQuiz Winner!

where _is_ everybody?
* gives up waiting after all of about 20 seconds, as #201 might be the only one she'll _ever_ be able to answer without google .. *
Mister Noo Yawk Noorotic Woody Allen
You all know Shea's fabulous Langwich Skool uv Noo Yawk of course: A531109
Going to see 'Play it again, Sam' tonight.

"I don't want to live on in the heart of my people. I want to live on in my appartment." Allan Stewart Konigsberg
(retranslated though, so possibly not what he said in the first place)
Hej elwood!
elwood Posted Apr 29, 2004
Congratulations on answering #201 sunny!
One of the recurring themes here at QuoteQuiz is Woody Allen and Groucho Marx quotes. But good work on your Google-free answer!!
As far as your question about where is everyone, you may be better connected to say where our game leader is hiding...

Hiya Ottie old buddy! So did you notice any similarities between a certain h2g2 researcher and a particular Jimmy Stewart character who also saw this right rabbit?
HEY SMoB!!! Welcome back to the game and the winners circle!
Great to see everyone!
New game up and running soon.
Hej elwood!
sunny Posted Jul 26, 2004
Maybe we should welcome Google to the winner's circle?
It's _not_ Woody Allen (-> post 1350)

Hej elwood!
elwood Posted Jul 26, 2004
Still using that tricky Ottox style of answering, I see.
But yes, you and google are the winners! It is Groucho!
Thank you for your participation in the exciting QuoteQuiz gameshow phenomenon sunny.
New game up, that is if I can find my QuoteFile after all this time.
Hej elwood!
sunny Posted Jul 26, 2004
That's actually why I answered it: not that you get the impression we're not interested!
* would like to see the QuoteFile. Not to cheat on the points but out of curiosity *
ps - you know that the links from your space to the elliepics aren't working any longer, yes?

Hej elwood!
elwood Posted Jul 26, 2004
I didn't know that.
I'll have to see what happen with Fotango. They had sent me a warning they were changing something but of course I didn't read it. Now problems.
I really should get around to joining that procrastinators society here at h2g2.
Hej elwood!
elwood Posted Jul 26, 2004
Yeah. They rewrote the links to the photo albums at Fotango. But the links are working again. Except to keep up with my procrastination, the most recent pictures are a year old. Little ellie does in fact look little in these. And as she keeps telling us now she's a big girl!
