There's not much to tell about St. Bart's. We were on a Windjammer Cruise, and made friends with some other people on the ship. It was a nice, little group of 6 of us. There was a woman from Montreal in our group, and she spoke French, which was ideal on the French island of St. Bart's.
Anyway, we decided that a lovely lunch of wine, cheese, bread and fruit on the beach would be perfect, so our Canadian friend got us all the best non-stinky cheese, and we got a lot of French wine, and headed for a terrific beach!
After some snorkeling and swimming, we all came back to the beach for our lunch. Needless to say, we overindulged, and I believe we all had about a bottle of wine apiece. Needless to also say, we all fell asleep on the beach. Apparently, I fell asleep still holding a glass of wine in my hand, perched on my chest. After a few hours ... something ... woke me up with a start, and the glass of wine went flying. I ended up with a tie-dyed t-shirt, and everyone else got a good laugh.
I believe that was the day we found it outrageously funny to describe ourselves as tipsy-wipsy from the boozy-woozy ... I think you have to be quite to find that amusing, though.

The "tipsy-wipsy from the boozy-woozy" was even funnier coming from people trying to hop back into the water with snorkling gear on, walking with flippers, falling over into the water and laughing about how "tipsy-wipsy from the boozy-woozy" they were!
I think I still have the t-shirt. It was a Darryl Strawberry Mets t-shirt, now covered in red wine. An ominous sign? Hmmm ...
