why does I sudenly find myself worrying deeply about the human race,

I'm none of those things, I can't be, ok a little arogant at times but I'm not afraid to admit I'm wrong (I've found this is the quickist way to solve an argument), I'm selfish by my nature but I do have empathy which I relly upon alot, vanity is somthing that happened to other people, you can't be vain when you've grown up not knowing what you look like, mirrors also happened to other people. dosn't mean I'm insecure about the way I look, only that I don't really think I look like anything because from this vantige point I don't. Rude, well what can I say, this is an atribute that I can say with so much definity, I'm always polite I say hello to people, let people pass me, say exuse me, open doors for people, it's been somthing with me always.

Now tell me why I don't have a girlfriend.

Oh, art galleries, theatre, off-beat cinema. Bookshops are pretty good too! If you do spot a potential victim...er...I mean, prospect...there, at least you can strike up conversation:

"What did you think of the performance?"
"Which is your favourite piece"
"Have you seen any of his other stuff?"

Which don't look like obvious chat up lines. With any luck there'll be a cafe in the museum or whatever, and you can offer to buy a coffee.

Oh, and I know it's an old cliche, but you meet some awfully nice people in amateur dramatic groups. Even if you dont want to act there's always loads of backstage and front of house to be done.

yes, lots, critical staff shortage I'm afraid.

we'er trying to get some peeps just out of uni at the moment, no shortage of aplicants, 50 men, 1 women. owch.

at the moment theis company is just a load of engeneers, and the MDs wife part time to cover some things, we really need some marketing or somthing other than engenereering.

6 years old I think, we do building automation and development work. mainly in Lonworks and other networking type things. quite good at it now. see website http://www.infranet-partners.co.uk *proud look* I did that

How come there are so few female programmers and engineers

don't know, perhaps they all go into hair care, or religon, I don't understand it. I wish there were some girls out there that understood why 3 & 5 is 1 and why loop and checks aren't as effient as pointing.

no, I'm sure there are some, but very very few, I think more women go into steel production and oil well grunting than software engeneering.

or perhaps the uk hasn't cottened on that it's a career yet.
