Hi, been subbing A13346363 a hard days night. Nice entry. A few dumb questions because I'm totally ignorant on certain topics.
Pasted right out of the entry:
>>>>The next two albums, Beatles For Sale and Help! would both feature covers <!-- ignorance alert, what is a cover? !-->.
>>>>>The American version also used a different album cover. It was simply a grid of four pictures on a red background; each photo featured one of the Beatles from his eyes up. The order of the pictures <!-- from left to right, clockwise? !--> are Paul, John, George and Ringo.
>>>>>The story is about a day in the lifePun intended. <!-- oops. I don't think I get it... !-->
>>>>>>‘If I Fell’ - Written by John, it is like ‘Norwegian Wood’, this song is about him having an affair <!-- how is it like 'Norwegian Wood'? !-->.
>>>>>>>‘Tell Me Why’ - An extremely upbeat song by John, and one of the songs the Beatles perform at the television studio in the film. John later said the lyrics were partly inspired by <!-- his? !--> parents divorcing,
>>>>>>
After that I'll just run through the spellchecking (you're British, right? Makes it easier...) and linking and that'll probably be it, so if you have any protests, make 'em now.

Sorry. Again, I assume that people will get my jokes. Later on, they had a song called 'A Day in the Life' and I thought it would be funny to have a little pun... You know... funny... Anyway, if you are not comfortable with it, you can do whatever to it.
I don't think that I read it was specifically about his parents divorcing, although they did. My source for that info didn't say, though it very possible that it is... But anyway, I'd say leave it as it is to be safe. It makes sense either way.
And I was just using the word cover in two different contexts. Cover means when a band records someone else's song on their album, and I was using the word also for picture on the front of the case. So maybe for the picture just change it to 'album photo' to avoid confusion...?
And change it just to clockwise, then...
Norwegian Wood is also about an affair
Erm, no... I'm American, but I'm careful about Brit spelling here. In fact, I use it all the time in RL.

Did I forget a G7 suspended somewhere? Sorry, I just really don't know much about the Beatles except they were the guys with the guitars and without haircuts and made girls faint wherever they went.

Yes, in the 'A Hard Day's Night' paragraph, I had the wrong chord written. It should be G7 suspended.

Last question:
>>In the stereo version of this song, John makes mistakes while playing the harmonica.
Stereo version?
And that's it, I think. You did all the linking for me.

Stereo, Mono, etc...This is what Jimster told me. I'm a bit rusty on this subject, but those are different versions of recording that work on Stereo (2 speaker) players or Mono (1 speaker)
Yes, you're lucky; I hate it when I get an Entry to Sub and it hasn't any links...

One more inaccuracy on my part. I really need to start being more careful.
After that, starting with Rubber Soul, the Beatles would never record another cover.
Change this to:
After that, starting with Rubber Soul, the Beatles would never record another cover until 'Maggie Mae' on their final album Let It Be, in 1970.

Hey, where did all that extra information come from?

Leo Posted Aug 14, 2006
Yeh, there *is* extra stuff in there! It wasn't me. Honest. Did I accidentally paste it in from somewhere else? I can't find similiar wording in any other entry on the Beatles. Maybe the italics did it? I'll ask.

Jimster admitted to it on the Subbie yahoo group. He said he wants to pull together all the Beatles entries somehow.
