Stupid

Today, i'm feeling stupid, after having inappropriately Yikes!ed a newbie. Not very ACE-like, really. More than stupid, I feel guilty. It's not nice getting a telling off from the Towers - not because of them, but because I know it was my fault and that they're right.
I'm sorry if it was you, not that you'd know, since the attempt was refused,

I'm going to leave h2g2 now, until this evening. I need to reflect on things, and besides, it's time to go to games.

A little change for me today. Once again, an Entry is on the front page that I have dealt with - but this time as an Author, not a Sub. Thanks to all involved, especially the PR posters, and Schreck Inc. for the Subbing...

Six months old!

I'm six months old - it's official! 
No, really, I am. I was born at:
Monday 21 May 2001, 10:19 GMT
Which is strange since I really ought to have been at an English lesson just then. Oh, well, I suppose you ought to have some !
It's scary to think that everything on this page and linked from it has been achieved in so short a time - just think how the first six months of a 'real life' existence are in comparison.
I just wanted to thank a few people, so sorry if I missed you out - ta to:
- St.Trin, Countess Canicoces The Improbable *ACE* Muse, Thingite and
Zaphodista (5!/5 + 2 + 7 + 9 = 42) for welcoming me as an ACE.
- Peta for, among so many other things, making me an ACE so soon.
- Mina and all of the Aces for accepting me as an ACE
- Peta again for making me a Guru, and to the Gurus as above...
- To Chris and the Peer Review people for making me a Sub-Ed and then a Scout.
- To Bossel, Dancer and the Scouts, and John-the-gardener and the Subs.
- To Mark for putting up with my inane questions when he's always stuck in boring meetings.
- To Abi for not getting irritated at me.
- To all the Italics for the site, the smilies, the support, and the bundle of laughs when I guessed that they had been at a great party the night before they let most of the banned people back in. 
- To all the authors of the Entries that I've subbed, especially Old Uncle Zarniwoop, Catwoman and the rest.
- To the excellent Reports team.
- To DNA for giving the inspiration for the site.
- To the BBC because they'd feel left out if I didn't.
- To anyone else that I've forgotten.
- To you, for taking the time to read this and for putting up with me!
I hope to stick around as long as I am able to, so may the next six months be as good as the first have. There've been happy times, solemn times, frantic times, relaxed times, easy times, difficult times, and more, but overall, it's simply been wonderful. My special
