Mad Ramblings from the Dim SIde
I am Irish, g|_|, 32, single and reluctant to settle down - though mind you, it's manners to wait til you're asked, as they say! I am interested in History (did my BA in History and English), Archaeology, philosophy, Religion, Spiritualism,
Occult,
Music, (i play cello) and Songwriting, (mainly traditional music).
I have a a great life,
and enjoy all kinds of debate and discussion. I look forward to reading/replying to the many conversations and discussions here.......and of course I won't be shy with an opinion!!:D
If I had to list pet likes and dislikes (like one of those questions you get asked in a night club, isn't it? up there with 'what's your hobbies' and 'where do you work?') top of the dislike list would be intolerance and prejudice, closely followed by a pathological dislike of people giving sloppy, secondhand opinoins, rather than thinking for themselves. So, kinda an intolerant tolerance approach, I'm afraid. Top of my likes list? Laughing. I love humour and wit, and if someone disagrees with me but makes me laugh, I'm a push over! Good discussions are a next favourite. After that <i>reading<i> (more books than the central library in my bedroom alone) and poetry, and music come next. And of course if all can be combined with a good stiff drink...........whopeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
