I have a feeling you were not always Paul H Christogoshcloth. A horrible vision floated before my . . . whatever, that Paul H, Mr Christopher, Gosho and Avenging Washcloth are all the same person . . . cannot be. Mr Chris for one is dyslexic, and you turn in a neat rhyme. Gosho is an ex-pat Brit, the others are not. I plump for Paul H. But perhaps I will never know.

I am just one person. Christogoshcloth is a joke, harking back to a time when some of us tried to imitate each other by adding other researchers' names after our own.

Phew. As one who has stuck religiously to a single persona, I am vaguely aware of the practice of taking on avatars, to sow confusion . . .

I, for one, am confused enough as it is. Don't worry, Recumbentman ... I'm not one of Paul's alter egos ... much to his and everyone else's relief.
