Is there room for another Vogon poet, albeit a ragtime one?

Hi, Vogonpoetry:

I hope to earn my Angels' wings soon,
and I was hoping to be patron saint
of ragtime Vogon poetry. Then I discovered
that Vogon poetry is your specialty.

I don't want to cause confusion or distress
to anyone (though my ragtime Vogon lyrics--
which I am ready to post--may cause plenty
of both to unsuspecting readers who have
just eaten smiley - smiley ), so if having multiple
Vogon poets at H2G2 is a problem for you,
I will simply be a ragtime Vogon.

I'll be interested in hearing your views smiley - smiley .

(I was going to write this post in the form
of a sonnet, but that would have taken too long,
and I am especially slow today, what with the
heat. Have a poetical day.)

Confusion is a wonderful pastime,
Especially when expressed in ragtime,
Should you want to write verse,
In this genre diverse,
I wouldn't want you to not rhyme.

My name is my name but I'm game,
To share it with poets without shame,
I dont have a monop'ly,
On poetic vogonity,
But I shall say something on fame:

Vogonpoet is now my name,
Others greeting me expect the same,
If you want to define
These poems undivine,
In terms of who wrote them so lame...
(Oh, I shall stop now,
So many limericks spoil,
Haiku in my soul.)
...then it would be best if you were to refer to yourself as something other than vogonpoet smiley - smiley. YOu certainly wouldnt want people associating you with my terrible doggerel smiley - biggrin.

Oh, and if you were to be "'some random name', Patron Saint of ragtime Vogon poetry" then of course there would be no trouble at all.
Of course, I had considered promoting myself to Asagoth poet, but then my name and titles would be difficult to haiku, so maybe you could consider that particular honour smiley - winkeye.

OR: just ignore everything I have said and do what you want to do, this is a free web site you know smiley - smiley.

Of poets Aragoth and Arium :-)

Of Aragoth poets, no trace
Can I find on the 'net anyplace.
I looked far and wide,
But well do they hide,
So I guess other poets I'll chase.

The Great Circling Poets of Arium
Were clever, though no one would marry 'em.
Their verse repetitious
Produced angry wishes
That someone or other would bury 'em.

Asagoth hard to find, too

My spelling is sometimes not great,
Though this time no difference in fate.
I guess I should seek
To be something unique.
(I hope I don't have long to wait.)

Azagoth (of Kria) slightly less hard to find.
