So...this is me.
OK, OK - I know, it's about time I updated this page.
My life
So - I'm 22, and just in the middle of my 4th year final exams at Cybernetics at Reading University, UK.
Naturally, seeing as I take cybernetics, I play with computers a bit, programming, gaming, the usual gubbins. I've even got a proper webpage (are you impressed?).
Audiophile
I'm very passionate about my music - pretty much anything with guitars is fine by me. Let's see...my latest albums I bought are:
- White Stripes: White Blood Cells. I listen to this far too much - one day I'll end up hating it because I've overlistened to it, but I can't stop myself. It's been about 4 years since we had a rock album that rocks this much - damn fine stuff.
- Zero 7: Simple Things. The ultimate chill out album. This is some amazingly smooth stuff - I put this on whenever I'm working late at night and just relax.
- Gomez: In Our Gun. I've always liked Gomez, but I saw them live a few weeks ago & realised I loved them. The new album is a little more mature than the previous ones, but is still very obviously Gomez. Very funky.
Other favorites are Radiohead, Mogwai, Chili Peppers, Counting Crows, Sigur Ros, and You Will Know us by the Trail of Dead....
I play guitar too - I have a Epiphone Les Paul model, and a gorgeous 1970's Yamaha acoustic that sounds fantastic. I can't necessarily play them well, of course...
Is that it?
What else? I windsurf when I get the chance - the UK tends to be a bit cold for it, so I usually wait till I'm somewhere slightly more pleasant...
The same applies for scuba diving - I love doing it, just not in the UK, thankyouverymuch.
In theory I also play badminton, squash, tennis, and do Tae Kwondo, but recently I just haven't got round to such trivialities. I will start ninjitsu in a months time though.
