"Plans and the changing of them..."




Fret not. This is both a confirmation of our plans and a slight change to what we had originally had in mind. please get in touch if this is not acceptable. or just to say it is okay.

Amanda's phone number here is: [ piffle - we've had to remove the phone number 'cos the mod's would've had it. try leaving a message on our space or just e-mailing us.] - leave a message. (the answer machine screens in-coming calls.)


We called and left a message on your answer machine that is essentially a duplicate of this e-mail but I'm nothing if not cautious.

We've booked out tickets to NYC. We leave Lancaster PA @ 11am and get into NYC Penn Station @ 3.00pm (approx).

Okay in the last few hours things have got a little interesting.

Barbara and Terry (Shea and TJ, like you didn't know! ) have had some planned guests drop out of staying with them so have come up with a room for us each for the night. They are holding a wedding rehersal and meal the night of our arrival and they have invited us to come along. We should very much like to attend and have given tentaive confirmations to her, depending on whtehr or not you agree.

We are bringing up for them a large (and fragile) wedding gift; plus we've got all of our luggage to shift. It might be a bit much to drag all of that over to yours (not to mention dragging you out all the way too.) only to about turn and quick-step over to Shea's place for the meal.

If it is okay with you we should like to accept their offer fully to travel up to their place on Long Island on the Friday night (5th) for the rehersal and meal. We can then travel with them to the wedding and meet you there. Then when we all leave the reception amd continue as planned.

I hope this isn't to late in the day and you are agreeable to this minor change.

Just to empahsise call or e-mail to let us know so we can pass on our final plans to Barbara and Terry.
