And I'm an ACE. And ACEs are those who greet the newcomers.

Of course I find the name a bit pretentious. And when you'll know it means "assistant community editor", you'll understand it is even more pretentious than you thought. Hopefully, people doing it are not quite like their names. They tour those whose name bears the mention "new this week" and provide them with lots of fun-packed links. It's a strange fate to be an ace... Personnaly I find it difficult to greet everyone indistinctively, so I choose those who have a cool name. "Charlie" is cool . It allows me not to have to welcome more than two persons a week... My hypothesis is that newbies with cool names don't need to be given links on their own conversation forum, but can look for it elsewhere. I thus hope to meet someone really , and to have my page visited. Am I an egoist? Nooooo.... It's just that page is realy worth it. . It has some useful links, and it lacks some others. That's life.

Well o f c o u r s e "Charlie" isn't really cool if you don't like it. TC IV's all right, but a little too modern perhaps. I would expand the "T" into a short word. Like: "TeeC IV" or"Tea c4", or "TedFour"...

If you want to know, my name is Tilde C... People call me TC, but my brother and sisters (three put together) also have the initials "TC", so you have TC I (TC the first), TC II (TC the second), TC III (TC the third) and finally me, TC IV (TC the forth) You get the picture! We've gone through our whole lifes being kalled "The Four TC's"...

I am the only one who needs SO much space just to tell people why I use those four symbols in my nickname...
