I was a bit sad to find you can *only* get a 10 liter bag/box.

Ah! They probably can arrange a bulk order from France - providing Texaco will play ball with the loan of a spare tanker - although you would have to rinse it out REALLY well first!

Hmmmmmmmm...I adore red wine! SO flavourful, so fruity..and pork pie, too! Yummy.....the very best pork pie comes from Melton Mowbray, but the local Derbyshire ones are pretty good, too!

I usually make it at this time of year....when I am not making 'drunken pears'.........whole peeled pears, poached in white wine and red current jelly, served with my very own thick chocolate sauce and topped with heavy, whipped cream............you may now drool!

...I'm way beyond drooling...

OK, people!

TODAY...lunch was a healthy salad, topped with slices of Anjou pear and walnuts, crumbled blue cheese and a sliced chicken breast (previously marinaded in 'Sparrow Lane' Walnut Champagne Vinegar - I buy this Napa product locally - and Mexican oregano, then broiled).

Oh yes, and sliced, pitted plums, folded (MUST be with a wooden spoon!) into whipped, heavy cream, swirled with 'streaks' of Drambuie. (I'm practising for C.....tmas!)

I DO so hope darling Pan is drooling??!!!

I know I am, considering I've had a bagel, and nachos and cheese all day!

I'm considering making cheese scones tomorrow, but I'll need to go and buy some HARD cheddar, as the soft cheeses I have to hand are...well, soft!

Wellllllllll...it comes in this nice glass jar, and I buy it at Whole Foods, and it smells VERY strong, and why does everyone keep telling me to smoke it?
