There's an election brewing, one for President of h2g2.

I can hear it now, not another stupid poller trying to pimp my vote and waste my time!!! Well nothing could be farther from the truth, I wouldn't play you like that.

The simple facts are that Hypatia is running for this most high of offices with your fellow Ohioian Jodan as her second under the Ozark Party banner. You can find a copy of The Ozark Party Platform at A1341109 and I would appriciate you taking a moment to peruse said document.

Obviously this is the most consciencious and well thought out campaign and the only one that plans to address the issues faced by us all in the serious and professional manner that they deserve. Equality for all, be you tart or tightwad, amoral or anal retentive, each has a voice deserving of being heard.

We at the Hypatia for President Campaign have your best intrests at heart and will go the extra mile to see that your rights are maintained with the dignity they deserve. Or to out it in a more sexual format (my personal speciality ) The Ozark party is not a two pump chump! Instead we are well versed in the arts, tremendous of staying power and dedicated to a most fulfilling experiance...we'll even be there to cook you breakfast in the morning

They say if you whisper in a sleeper's ear the messege is subliminaly placed so here goes.

vote for hypatia as it's too late to throw your own hat into the ring due to the official rules and who really wants the hassle of actually campaigning anyway.

it's easy, just say yes, I'll do the rest and you can return to whatever dream that was interupted.

now if I can get back outta here without the floorboards creaking or feline intervention I can get back to dreams of my own....chasing some cute girl mice through a well holed block of Swiss

Just thought I'd leave an update here rather than the other thread as this is political and that one is more personal, aside from the fact that it may blossom into a very nice extended chat over time.

Voting has officially begun and will last till October 8th. The ballots are to be cast via email and the info as to where and how can be found at A5889261.

The system as explained is confussing as h*ll but suffice to say that if you simply cast your vote for Hypatia in the #1 slot you can't go wrong, and as we intend to win there's no need to waste time with spots 2-15 Thanks and I hope to hear from you again soon.
