British weather
The British weather is something that's hard to ignore. It's there every time I leave my house. It's either p*****g it down, or so hot I can't breathe. The other day I left the quiet of my house to cath the bus and found myself in 6 inches of snow. After reaching the bus stop and finding I had no money, I realised I'd have to make a trip of 1 mile into the village to get some money from the bank.
By the time I reached the bank, I shared the same appearance as that of a snow man. I went to put my cash-card in the ATM and found I didn't have my card. Another mile back up the road to get my cash-card... A mile back into the village to get some money, and then onto the bus.
Now I guess there must be some people out there that really like the variety of weather patterns we receive here in the UK. They probably believe it to be interesting and different, a nice change, refreshing... I'd like to meet some of these people.

Hey there people! I'm a happy-go-lucky nutcase from Nottingham, UK. Hope you all enjoy reading scary stuff, insane stuff, stuff that makes no sense what-so-ever. I'll tell you what, read some of my insane entries to this guide, and then make your own mind up.

30/3/2001: Right, I want to set some ground rules now. You've read the house rules, now read my ground rules:
+ If you read any of my articles, please leave me a message saying hello. It doesn't have to say anything more than that.
+ There are NO RULES.
Thanks.

17/5/2001: Douglas Adams is dead. How this could be I don't know. How can the person that brought us the HHG2TG just pop his proverbial clogs? I feel as if I have been gutted. Please excuse me if I start crying. ;~(
I would like to propose a 5 second silence (NET time is much faster than human time) in memorial of Douglas Adams...
Thankyou.

24/8/2001: Hello everyone. Just thought I'd make my regular (every 2 months if yer lucky) updates to this page. Today I feel like talking about the Zaphodista movement for a short while.
I remember when I signed up to the "New" H2G2 site about half a year ago. I had remembered visiting the site about a year before-hand, and thought I should go back to see if it had changed at all. It had. I was very surprised to see many nude women and a sign saying "Over 18s only". I then changed the URL from [URL removed by moderator] to http://www.h2g2.com" >http://www.h2g2.com - oops. Again, I was surprised. The site most certainly had changed! I signed up and started enjoying the site, until the bad news finally filtered through to my poor abused brain:
The BBC had taken over H2G2.com! I was shocked and apalled, and so immediately set out to research this. Then I stumbled across Zaphodista. Go check them out, they have some interesting ideas on how H2G2.com should be run...

22/10/2001: Hi again. Not a lot to talk about in this update. Still very shocked by the unexpected death of Douglas Adams. I bought a copy of the book to read (I've only ever read copies I borrowed from the library) and was shocked to see that he actually died on my 18th birthday. :-( Now what does THAT tell you?
Continuing my discussion on the British weather, I have now moved to Wales, where the weather seems to be even less predictable. I have found it a constant source of amazement that it is possible to be walking in the sunshine, nip into a shop, and step back out into a torrential down-pour. Strange, eh? I suppose the ducks must like it. Not that I've seen any ducks...

6/2/2002: Another year, another load of new years resolutions! Another xmas has gone by and as usual I over-indulged, but what can I say? I have been out drinking 5 times in the last week, I am sure my liver will be leaving me for a better owner soon. Looks to me like Spring is in the air. Who knows, maybe just for once we will have a nice warm summer rather than the usual drawn out muggy steamy weather we usually have... Who knows, eh?

3/10/2002: Well, here I sit typing telling all you random people just how skint I am. Money is an intriguing issue. I am suffering from relative poverty. This means that compared to say an Afghanistan refugee I am rich, but compared to a rich American I am very poor. I find this hard to believe seeing as how I am over £3000 in debt..... Well, never mind. More random comments soon.
