Mission accomplished, no thanks to my unreliable grey goo
Posted Jul 15, 2007
Well, what a palaver! I've been trying to break into my page for ages. You can't get any kind of response from anyone at the BBC/h2g2 if the system won't let you in. It never used to be like that in the good old days. The times I've been locked out and the old h2g2 staff have patiently explained where I've been going wrong or reminded me what my password is ... . Anyway, I'm in now. I don't know if I dare ever sign out again. For my own reference next time I have this problem (ie, NOTE TO SELF) REMEMBER BIRD BRAIN: Turn on the b*****y cookies!

Stuff
Posted Oct 22, 2001
I don't like stuff! Matter, muck, clutter, things, bits and pieces - all the evil emissaries of some supernatural nitwit. And ornaments should henceforth be described as what they really are: dust-traps.
Humbug

Funniest poem ever?
Posted Apr 17, 2001
I love this poem. It reminds me of someone I know. I think it should be allowed (if there are any moderators watching) because it's *really* old and therefore out of copyright.
The Sick Rose By William Blake
O Rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm,
Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy,
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy.
