ME
Hello All,
I guess this is the space where I introduce myself...well.. um
Firstly why am I here?
I am absolutely ecstatic that H2G2 exists. About a year and a half ago I picked up the 5 part H2G2 trilogy on Audio book remembering how much I loved the books when i read them about 7 years ago. Then to my shock and horror I found out about the untimely death of the intelligent, empathetic and imaginative Douglas Adams. Unfortuanatley I think I am still mourning. I just finished listening to the Salmon of Doubt and found the letters at the begining enlightening and rather sad. I am just thrilled that douglas' legacy is continuing and when I discoved this site I had to be a part of it and help continue that legacy. Also the movie, something he had been working on for so long has finally come to fruition. I was pleased with what I saw and I think he would be too. The 'so long and thanks for all the fish' opening scene bought tears of joy I have to admit.
Secondly who am I.
My name is Kitty, I am 30, married, live in Australia, (no I haven't ridden a mantaray) and I guess I am a little well travelled but not much. I study Peace and Conflict Resolution and International Relations. My beautiful husband is soon to be a psychologist.
Our children when they decide to make them selves appear and reboot will either be totally screwed up or very well adjusted. who know's. but they will be well versed and knowledgable in all things hitch hikers (age appropriate of course).
I don't know what else to say really except I hope my experience here is positive, enlightening and fun . Other forums i have encountered have been full of infuriating butt weazles. I also hope once my confidence here raises a little, to start contributing to the Guide's content.
