At least your wife is looking after you, it sounds like she cares alot and that is a good thing
No school probs as yet and my son was fine walking home yesterday, not sure what is happeninng yet though. I did get his school report today in the post, I guess they don't trust the kids to fetch them home lol and my son has got A's and B's for effort is his subjects so I'm really pleased about that. Neighbours have gone quiet again but they seem to do that every now and again so we shall see.
I've just been to see my sister today and went shopping with her still looking for ideas for xmas pressies

Hi BK
Hubby just phoned me to tell me his mate will give me guitar lessons if I want. I could hear him playing in the background and he's pretty good, I just have to ring him to arrange it, so I might start after christmas plus it might help boost my confindence in playing it. But then again I always think I'm rubbish at everything lol must be a personality flaw lol

Excellent on the guitar lessons, i know you want to learn so it could be good for you
Cheryl, please never put yourself down, you sound to me like a nice and head wise lady, be stronger and more confident in yourself, you want to play guitar and you can, trust me, if you have a good teacher and he trusts in you also you can do anything.
Enjoy it all

Aw thanks BK you're a pal. The good news is hubbys mate has two electrical guitars so he said I can learn on one of them and hubby says if I do ok he will buy we one His mate said that chords are easier on electric guitars coz the neck is smaller so easier to get your fingers in place.

Hi Cheryl, yea it is easier to learn on an electric guitar as opposed to an acoustic, but you can get 3/4 or 1/2 size acoustic guitars.
What sort of guitar have you got now

I only have a classical one, so I feel quite limited about what I can do on it? So I was thinking of trying an elcectric guitar, I hadn't thought about an acoustic one really, I suppose it would be an idea to show him what I can do and may be he could help me decide what would be best?

I think you will find it easier on an electric one really, the fret board is narrower the strings are lighter to pluck and chord up.
Plus its rock and roll

i would love to be able to sing, but doing it live in front of people.... no way, its far easier to sit behind a drum kit as now one looks at you then

I don't think I could sing in front of ppl either, besides I'm not good enough, but I do like a good sing around the house lol. I was in the choir at school though.

I like to sing in the bath (badly of course) then have all the kids and the wife...even the dog screaming at me to shut up

I don't think I've been told to shut up yet, give them time lol. Saying that I only tend to sing when I'm on my own lol
