2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Jun 19, 2018
for the weekend first time I've managed to get out of this horrible town for ages.... since last November
Off to my hometown for three nights, leaving Friday, back Monday...
Going to stay at the same hotel as last time, as its really rather good and inexpensive, for the quality of the place, right on the edge of the broads, and near the pubs, takeaways etc, in that area, and a couple mins walk from the rail station
It's also about ten minutes walk from my Dad, so we're hoping to go out for a meal with him, one night at least
The hotel breakfasts are also really rather decent, and we'll just fill up on breakfast like we did last time, and so not need lunch - hoping the weather stays good, as I've plans to get some long walks in, along the coast and also out over the fens/broads, whilst there (the last time we were there, despite missing the gym exercise, and despite living on takeaways, and hotel breakfasts, I lost weight, due to the amount of walking... and despite the number of pints of beer each night )
Unfortunately the little town in question, isn't probably ready for me fully in drag, so I guess I'll revert to the skinny fit jeans, and my linen trousers instead... Hmm... so actually I'll be fully cross-dressed, just not so obviously so
Talking of which. that size 16 dress, I bought, a few days/week ago... is getting loose - scales so lie... - I've not lost any weight according to them, and, simularly the nonsense that is BMI, having had it measured today at the gym, is nonsense... apparently I'm still overweight it just doesn't take account of muscle bulk
ten pin bowling tonight... feeling fairly bleh at the moment, no idea why just extra spaced out I think
More lamb for lunch today, with the shish spice mix I made up I think I've finally got it spot on probably with cous cous again and salad
something quick tonight, before ten pin.... no idea what yet... maybe fish, and rice, or a noddle and chicken stirfry
actually this weather is contributing to my bleh feeling... its not nice warm summer warm... its just humid and a really weird high air pressure I think... very sultifying, especially with the apauling lack of breathable air in this filthy city... - one of the main things I'm looking forward to, in going away, is both being able to hear properly (way less constant background noise and more space), and the breathable air - I'm coming more and more to the conclusion that we should vacate this town... its just got too full, too crowded, and too built up, with all the resultant constant noise, polution and humidity and airlessness Plus, I really would like somewhere with a garden and a detached house, and that is just unaffordible in this town, where a two up, two down, mid-terrace costs 500 to 750 K obviously, that is a plus, when it comes to selling up this place, and buying a bigger detached house with a garden, costing about 1/3 of the price, in a city not too far from here we like, but which doesn't have the insane drive to build in every spot remaining, in cambridge... Plus, the town center here, in Cambridge, has died, and aside the decent pubs, there isn't much to warent staying here... luckily where we're thinking of moving too, has an equally big range of decent pubs too, but with beer priced lower Plus, I think we both just fancy a change
bleh.. wish my head would clear a bit more... so foggy and spaced out still

Yeah, the weather doesn't help when it is muggy and hot... I hope you feel better in the cooler evening time tonight.
Yeah, BMI doesn't have all the answers, especially in relation to muscle, no matter what the powers that be like to think - that's good that you're noticing a positive difference in your clothes so you're doing alright with what you're doing
Enjoy your holiday

The BMI is 19th century quackery that works well enough when applied to populations to be of statistical use, but should not be used for individuals.

BMI, and to an extent, weight, are pretty meaningless, sometimes.... true, the scales say I've lost 4 stone in weight, since the start of last year.... But, at the same time this weight, now, is theoretically more than a stone heavier than my lightest weight... yet, my waist, and chest measurments, are a lot lower than when I was that weight, despite my chest muscles and being a lot more actually, the weirdest size difference noticible, is my 'flanks', and hip area, its gone past the straight-down stage, and now waisting in below my rib-cage area, quite a lot (despite the remaining belly at the front, top, due to the steroid distribution of body-fat...), and my back-side has vanished even more than previously my arms/shoulders are two to three times the circumference/size they used to be and my legs, oddly look a lot bigger, though in reality they're smaller, just rediculusly defined... - I wasn't aware previously that there were so many separate muscles on the body j
Heck, even my endocrine nurse at hospital, told me not to inject any more on my legs, as there just isn't any sub cutainious fat to get a needle into... though oddly, I can still get the injection in the upper, inner thigh as the adipose tissue there, just seems 'thicker'... but, as I'm so much more supple now, I can reach further round my back, so can find some new areas there to inject, sort of above the hips, not quite as far up as th ewaist, 'round the back a bit' area I've no where left on my bum for sub-cut injections either now its a pity they don't seem to like me injecting my as there would be ampple injection sites there to go in I must ask the GH people next time, to send a box of shorter sub-cut needles, as the current ones are I think way too long
Ouch.... legs were so achy this morning; ran on treadmill yesterday, for half an hour (about 3 miles/5 K)
so went to gym, to loosten up a bit, but gave the treadmill a miss, and did 2 K on the crosstrianer, instead, in 10 minutes then a load of curls, dips, bench press, upright rows, etc, in the weight room, for 45 minutes....
Hoping the legs won't be too achy tomorrow, for walking to the rail station... ahh... which reminds me, must go check there are any trains running, as the network is in total meltdown at the moment
chicken breasts defrosting for lunch; shall cut fine with onion, sliced red pepper, a scotch bonnet, and garlic, and some rice noodles - running the freezers down, and shall put in an online grocery shop later, for meat and fish, to be delivered the day after we get back... err.... actually probably Wednesday, as I'm with the personal trainer on Tuesday when we get back
have been mulling through a couple of walks we can do whilst away (its my home town afterall and where I spent my misspent youth, and some of my misspent later years too) I've a couple routes in mind, but I think fboth are about 18 mile round trips.... and I'm a little worried some of the paths might be different now, from how they were err.... twenty/thirty years ago, when I was still able to see and still living back there
