Well it was the loud music from outside till about half past one, then the drunken sounds of football supporters in the background til two AM, and then what I'm pretty sure was a gun shot at 2.47, didn't sound to me like a firework..
I'm on Oxford road, not too far away from Moside..

I know what you mean. I'm in Fallowfield and I'm forever hearing police helicopters and the like. The joy of living in Manchester I suppose!

I am not in Manchester and I still get helicopters sometimes! I am near a RAF Helicopter base which may be why
