I think weather was one thing we never got around to talking about...

How're you tonight?

I'm very about my internet connection which is still going bonkers...
But I'm very and and after managing to record a music CD that actually plays on my stereo I was quite but then I went to bed at middnight and
Was about all the noise outside so I got up
And now I'm all awake again and the noise outside has stopped!?

Hmmm... Didn't I just get done responding to a very similar message elsewhere?

*enjoys and gives Light a Oh: talking of there was a wonderful bit of "wacky" sounding science on the radio earlier today: you know the kind of thing about science they like reporting...
*wonders off mentally remembering the extrordinary amount of radio coverage given last year to the storey about "scientists" testing the idea of weather running or walking in rain makes you more wet, by, running or walking in the rain and seeing how wet they got....
Anyhow: apparently people who are hugged after heart opperations recover quicker well, not immediatly after the opperation i guess

I wonder if prevention works as well as cure here - if people get enough s and s does it stop them needing heart opeations?

My favourite sceince story this week was the one into memory and attention span for sheep! They did all sorts of face recognition tests with the and aparently they can remember faces for over a year! How useful is this?

I heard about that one: there was however one piece of (vital) information missing from the mediat reports:
The Researchers concluded that can remember and recognise faces a year later..
The faces they could remember and recognise were other ..
The researchers determined this by saying a had sucessfully recognised another s face a year later, only problem being:
How do we know the researchers were correctly telling the differnce between the ? maybe the research actually tells us that researchers can't recognise a year later?

Could we do research into sheep recognition amongst researchers?

Hmm, one problem, if its the Human Researchers ability to do recognition, then if we use human researchers to test it the same problem cound arrise..
maybe the could do the research on the researchers or the mice, but mice are already experimenting on humans as we well know .... they will be performing IQ tests on s next
