Scaffolding can be useful in all kinds of ways ab If you want to do Rolf Harris impersonations then a short piece can be used as a didgeridoo. If you want something a bit more continental then use a longer piece for an alphorn. Some really short pieces and some planks of wood make a very attractive bookcase, and if you want that "industrial look" in the bedroom, why not make your bed out of scaffolding poles? They can also be used to make an interesting mirror or picture frame. Want to build a lifesize version of 'Mousetrap'? Scaffolding

Gosho's right scaf poles are dead useful items to have around. When I was a student I lived in a room with really high ceilings, and I was able to build a partial new level in the room with the benefit of scaffolding
