Long and tiring, and the only break was a chase after a bunch of shoplifters. The boss was off though, so at least I managed to get some of my work done.

How about you?smiley - smiley

Aw...smiley - cuddle

Apart from when we were after the thieves, I barely saw daylight today. I'd endure the cold for that (and it was quite pleasant down here actually)...

Only one of them, unfortunately, despite help from the security guards from Woollies and Tescos. We don't reckon they got much, though.

No, though it's tempting. A few weeks ago the security guard from Tesco, who are our 'deadly rivals' (though all the stores in town cooperate very closely on security matters), followed a drunk he suspected of shoplifting into and around our store. As the bloke left the guard tried to stop him, but the man fell (and I'm certain it *was* a fall, nothing more sinister) and smashed his head open. There was blood everywhere, and we had to shut for over an hour as the police had roped off our entrance with incident tape. Ben, the security guard, was charged with assault and lost his job. The drunkard survived and had to be removed from the store again three days later!
The one we caught yesterday had a couple of steaks and batteries, but the police probably let her off with a caution in the end. They usually do, unfortunately...smiley - sadface

They're the most popular things to steal, being easy to conceal and quite expensive. The other most popular nickables for the 'professional' thief are razors and Lynx.
