A bit of RL talking here... I remember both of you, Shea and Amy, from the Yahboo days. I'm just very pleased to be in a forum with two interesting people who have got some decent ideas and a creative approach to life
Plus of course we've Acidbath and Parrferris here, who could be guaranteed upon to lower the tone of any Yahboo conversation, and are quite prepared to do the same here
Drinks ( for Amy) all round.

Thanks for the erm.....compliment, I think!
I also remember you from yahboo times and also as one of the first people to speak to me when we were let in here. I think in an odd sort of way that I'm glad that I had that unusual chance of meeting so many splendid h2g2ers in the yahboo forum, which might have taken me months in h2g2 itself!

Anyway, that's all the serious-type stuff you're getting from me for now....

Quite right... Yahboo did have its advantages for us newbies.
All I need now is the time to create something positive for the guide, rather than just running around conversation forums spraying and (plus for Amy) for all that want them.
Enough of the serious stuff for now.
Ahh. Parrferris? The one with the "ears"....

Sorry, I'm going to keep it serious for just another post, and all the rest of you are gone, so I can do what I want!
I was more of a lurker than a poster before the time of the big Yahboo, but in that forum I met a lot of great people, and got to know them, and it made me seek them out here. A lot of people wouldn't want to hear me say this, but I'm kinda glad it happened. I love you guys! Cheers!
That's enough of that ... And since I *am* the only one here ...

'Ello everyone! The wonderful italic Abi took pity on me and gave me back my old identity
*celebratory , and all round*
I'm off now to annoy the conversation threads in my old identities and to redecorate my home page, but will be back later.

I know I remember GD... I think the name Shea jogged my memory when I first got back here... and ab I know I remember (your real name's Paul, right??). Parrferris I don't believe I ever met before the Thingite Army... hmmm.
I have interesting ideas and a creative approach to life??!! I'm flattered, but are you sure you're not talking about Amy the Ant... that's someone different and we've been mixed up on more than one occasion...

I think you're interesting, Amy!
ab confused me after coming here, he used his 'real' name on Yahboo, and ab here ... I didn't know who I was abusing!

I think you're interesting, too Amy. We may not have spoken directly on yahboo, but I'm sure I read some of your posts (and I realised there were two Amys)(Amies?!).
*ab*using
I knew he was PWL because I remember him admitting to accidentally sending an e-mail to his son's school signed 'Acidbath'.
I can't remember if we 'spoke' on h2g2chat, Shea, maybe you were too scary Of course, I know you're not a now....I think...
