That's the cabdriver's problem ... they knew what the job entailed when they got into that profession ...

Cabbies aren't my favourite people. They try to take you by circuitous routes if they think you're not local, insist on talking politics, charge you an arm and a leg, and then have the cheek to expect a tip as well.

Oh hi Acidbath. Parrferris and Shea were calling me a cab but its not shown yet.
I know, the Blue Corn tortillas are addictive! They are a guaranteed item in my shopping trolley every time I enter the store. Their life expectancy when I get them home is measured in minutes rather than days.
The yellow tortillas are OK. Nice flavour but somehow they're just a bit on the greasy side for my taste. Forget the Dorito's stuff, they pale into insignificance compared to the Blue ones.
BTW try walking up the aisle to the booze section and look out for "Blandford Fly Premium Ale" by Badger Brewery in the premium bottled beer section (bottom shelf). Its a really nice refreshing ale thats spiced with ginger and is another must buy item on my shopping list.

When you said blue corn tortillas before, I didn't know you meant tortilla CHIPS! I thought you meant tortillas! Ever make a nice wrap with tortillas? Yum!

OK Shea, I'll make an exception for you, you can call me what you like (within reason). I can never say no to a lady
I'm off to the land of nod in a mo. I'll say goodnight to you here, as I'm speaking to you in nearly every conversation I go to tonight, and I really can't go through them all again!
Goodnight Shea
Goodnight Fans!

I won't call you that, PF ... There's a rather awful nickname that could be used in place of my RL name as well ... nobody ever uses it more than once ...
G'night ...

Another case of UK/US English language confusion!
Tortillas in the UK are triangular maize crisps (US translation: chips). We don't have Taco Bell here to educate us about Mexican food terminology. We have Indian food instead.
GreyDesk
BTW the most popular curries in the UK are called "balti" and "tikka" which in Urdu mean "bucket" and "pieces".

'What we call maize, you call corn ...'
Sorry, you made me flashback to an old Mazola margarine commercial.
Your tortillas are called nacho chips here ... our tortillas are flat, soft and round (about 9" in diameter), you wrap meat, veggies, etc. in them.
I rented an apartment downstairs from a typical American couple (he was from India, she was from the Phillipines. They used to make some amazing smelling Indian food up there ...
