Imagine my suprise one day, sat at home watching yet another entralling installment of that cultural trainwreck known as 'Trisha' (this particular episode being entitled "I was kidnapped by an alien, and now I have a crush on him!"), when I was mysteriously beamed about a space ship inhabitated by a race of beings who mistakenly had assumed that the aforementioned Trisha is a famed and highly regarded guru, someone who could bring peace to their planet.
After many long days of explanation (which occasionally erupted into the odd fistfight, and let me tell you, those little buggers have got fists everywhere, my shins still aren't right!) I eventually managed to enlighten these obsidional aliens on the true value of this dull witted, Oprah-wannabe. At which point, I found myself back in my Chiswick flat dressed only in a rather absurd looking Reindeer suit.
Ever since, I have dedicated most of my time trying to prevent other life forms (including those inhabiting this very planet) from making the same mistake, that there are other things in life than daytime telly and that anyway you should have a bloody job!
