Is the monkey like Curious George?
Or more like Bonzo, star (along with
an actor named Ronald Reagan) of the
film "Bedtime for Bonzo?"

Monkeys are cute and adorable. smiley - smiley
I sometimes wish they, not we, had taken
over the world. But then, the past can't
be changed. Only the future can be...

Chimps and Orangutans are the nicest, I find, though I love all types of monkeys, from the tiny spider monkeys to gorillas.

Curious George has been a great favorite
of children for at least 50 years. A few
years ago, our library's children's librarian
hired Mrs. H.A. Reys (who, with her husband,
wrote the "Curious George" books) to come to
the library to give a talk. Unfortunately,
Mrs. Reys, being well over 80 and in frail health,
was indisposed that day, so one of the library
assistants rented a Curious George costume and
wore it. The children went crazy over our Curious
George! smiley - biggrin

One of our morning TV programs used to have a
chimpanzee called J. Fred Muggs, who was as
cute as could be. smiley - smiley

A Chimp!smiley - bigeyes
Cool. I'd love to stroke and play with a monkey. So far I only fed an elephant.
I want to see tiger and lion cubs, and monkies, and more than one elephant (her name was Michaella, btw), and giraffes and....
